Company Overview

Animal Fun is an evidence based program developed by OT's, physiotherapists and psychologists from Curtin University in Perth. Sue McLaren (Director) was the Research Coordinator for the project and in 2016 Curtin granted Sue the IP and Copyright to Animal Fun. Sue has been operating as a Sole Trader since then and has shared the program widely in WA, VIC and QLD. Being based in Perth and working alone has been challenging so we are now looking for help to spread the word by offering opportunities for suitably qualified people to become independent licensed contractors.

Company History

Animal Fun was developed and researched for efficacy from 2009-2011. Following amazing research results, Sue McLaren developed the program into a set of resources and began to share Animal Fun in WA - one school at a time. Over the next 4 years she trav elled far and wide around WA to the popint where now over 60% of all primary schools have purchased the program. Rather than simply sell the resources, Sue is passionate about sharing knowledge and increasing capacity and understanding about the importance of motor development in the early years and sharing this knowledge with the people who actually need the program - mainly early childhood teachers and educators.

Sue facilitates training workshops Face to Face, Online and via a self paced e-learning course.

Animal Fun research and program has been delivered at conferences world wide and has been translated into Italian, German, Dutch, Brazillian Portuguese and Portuguese.
