- Mental Health Clinician - FIFO (First Nations Focus)
Description
Join a culturally grounded, traumainformed mental health service delivering meaningful therapeutic support across regional, remote and very remote Queensland. You will provide individual and group therapy for children, young people, adults and families, with a strong focus on First Nations communities.
This is a supported FIFO role offering balance, purpose and connection — with full travel assistance, generous allowances and a “no burnout” clinical model.
Key Responsibilities
Provide evidencebased therapeutic counselling across diverse referral types.
Deliver individual, group, outreach and telehealth services.
Complete assessments, care plans, reviews and reports.
Work collaboratively with community, families and partner services.
Maintain high professional, ethical and cultural practice standards.
Manage a varied caseload within a supported clinical team.
Requirements
Essential Criteria
Current AHPRA or AASW registration
Willingness to complete preemployment screening, including Criminal History, Blue Card, and Queensland Disability Worker Screening / NDIS Worker Screening (or eligibility/pending approvals)
Current driver’s license
Experience or willingness to engage and work with First Nations families and communities
